Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage provided for equipment purchased from Tap N Vend. Please review these terms carefully to understand your rights and the limitations of coverage for both new and refurbished items.

1. New Equipment

All Brand New vending machines sold by Tap N Vend are covered by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Limited Warranty.

Key Terms for New Equipment:

  • Coverage Duration: Determined solely by the manufacturer (e.g., AMS, Crane, Seaga). Typically 1–2 years on parts.
  • Claim Process: Tap N Vend will assist customers in verifying purchase dates and providing documentation to the manufacturer.
  • Limitations: Labor costs, shipping for warranty parts, and on-site service calls are generally not covered unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer.

2. Refurbished & Used Equipment

Refurbished and Used vending machines sold by Tap N Vend are backed by a 6-Month Limited Parts Warranty effective from the date of delivery.

What is Covered

Tap N Vend warrants that the equipment will be free from material defects in operation for a period of 6 months. This coverage applies to the following major components:

  • Refrigeration Systems: Compressors, condenser fans, and evaporator fans.
  • Control Systems: Main control boards (VMC) and keypads.
  • Motors: Vend motors and delivery sensors.
  • Payment Systems: Coin mechanisms and bill validators (if included with the purchase).

What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

  • Labor & Service Calls: This is a parts-only warranty. Tap N Vend does not cover the cost of a technician to diagnose issues or install replacement parts.
  • Consumables: Light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, batteries, and pricing labels.
  • External Factors: Damage caused by vandalism, theft attempts, improper loading, or physical abuse.
  • Environmental Damage: Issues resulting from power surges, water damage, or operating indoor-rated machines in outdoor environments.

3. Card Readers & Cashless Systems

Payment devices (such as Nayax or Cantaloupe readers) are subject to the warranty terms provided by the device manufacturer, typically 1 year.

Note: Network connectivity issues, cellular service interruptions, and subscription billing disputes are handled directly by the service provider and are not covered under Tap N Vend’s equipment warranty.

4. How to Request Warranty Service

To initiate a claim, please contact our support team:

Our technical team will attempt to troubleshoot the issue remotely. If a part is confirmed defective under warranty terms, Tap N Vend will provide a replacement part. We may require the defective part to be returned for inspection before a replacement is shipped.

Tap N Vend reserves the right to deny warranty claims if the equipment has been modified, altered, or serviced by unauthorized personnel in a way that caused the failure.
